Prayer
Prayer is a very powerful tool to allow the spirit to balance itself out, ridding it of negative energy and bed feelings. The reason why face east in prayers is because that is the direction of Jerusalem. Short prayer mathematics is prayer-like equations which use words and mathematical symbols to create a metaphorical or meaningful conclusion. I found math prayer to simplify the praying process for me. There are multiple prayers for the holidays including a prayer for the New Year, a Christmas prayer for friends, Christmas poetry prayers, and even Veterans Day prayers! There are pros and cons of prayer in school, but some of the pros of prayer in public schools are that the children are much less violent. The prayer from Pulp fiction allows us to see examples of people not growing up with enough discipline.
Politics have also been a playing field always affected by religion. Every President was questioned before he was elected about what religion he follows; but today is more controversial than ever because for the first time in American history, an African American president was elected. Many people are curious to know, What is Barak Obama's religion? Or with a woman running for vice president, we also wanted to know what religion is Sarah Palin and if Barak Obama's religion affected the way people voted for him. So, what religion is sen Barak Obama? Im sure we will all know by inauguration day. |
